cathy and heathcliffe

Singularity
Immaculate
Critical
The inexhaustible dread
Image thought desire
Relief
Then drabness and familiarity

The machine with many eyes
Longing dispersed by repellition
Film set blood on a dead log
Covered in non-toxic rat glue and wd40
To give the authentic look

Contradiction snapped
I gave you my treasure
The pink is grey
The green is yellow
The turquoise miasma hangs
Like a cruciform shot crow
on a feral-dog fence post
Ménage the carcass
Shoot me with glass
Valediction in bailer twine
Flick off the gas said raymond chandler
They’re all the same after the first nine

I’d lay lady lay
Codeine tripped on the runway
(she's dead now by the way)
And wait for your jet-stream
to enmesh me to bits
But I’m not sure I know which self
I wish you to kill today
Except for the self that centers
on cheap thrills hey hey

All i want for Christmas
is a moment of time a moment of time
All known law’s will be rescinded
by edict of the last emperor of America
Joshua Abraham Norton
Then I can find myself a millionth of a second
before the instant in which
I knew I’d loved too late
the same St. August
loved the holy humble one
And re-dream the enchantment
which cast itself out as a hallucination
Re-turning the spool
When I was thrown out of school
When the ice cracked incandescent
Miraged in blue
When I stole out of heaven
With Cathy, Heathcliff
and a bottle of stars
For a moment with you.
