the immolation of the now.

as long as the god’s indivisible
as long as the sky keeps purring
as long as the night’s gone blue
invisible thoughts keep whirring
referring somehow
to an image and hope of you
as long as the light keeps burning
as long as a word of truth
as long as an echo and back
in deference to great youth
this yearning resounds
to a child unborn from the yolky sac

as long as The Lord has mercy
as long as the shadow of death
as long as the heart’s lost innocence
impervious to all sorrow,
as if to let go
And surrender the fear of dying like Zorro
as long as the universe will’s it
this minute, tomorrow, forever and how
as long as all knowledge keeps fading
as long as the immolation of the now.
