the sky falls

volcanic salute

the translucent sunset
gives birth to the moon
then she returns
as turquoise as june
and litters our beach
with crystal dubloons
we can spend them
in paradise
on chocolate and roses
rarely played e.p's
and sun ra's cosmic
revelations

place
that's what i'm listening to
now
i can hear dolphins
and blueness and snowflakes
sun ra's cosmic laughter
mingled with moonlight
and the soft allure of rust and jasper
