Pay on exit.

Because my head is full of cartoons
And my heart is full of fate
Because your pants are full of tattoos
And your oyster isn’t straight

Because my dreams are full of heaven
And my hands are full of bags
Because my love to you is borrowed and
Tomorrow we’ll be tagged

I want to get onto the next level of this universal car park
But maybe I’m running before I can drive
I want to put my foot on the gas pedal
And smash my way through the concrete balustrade of your indifference –
Break on through to the pay as you exit side

Because my arms are full of tremors
And my hair is full of fleas
Because my barn is full of tenors
And my heart is full of peas

I shall wake you like a sunset
I shall tie you like a bow
I shall jam you like a tartlet
Lick your cream off when I go

I shall miss you like a hairpin
I shall wave you like a blow
I take care to blend your shoulders
With my snake belt in the snow…

Because my wind is made of dollars
And my sins are made of glass
Red red roll me like tomorrow
Farthing froze my tide of doubt.
