Daisy

There was a flower
And a rain drop
Splashing on her
Little face

There was a flower
And a sunbeam
Which her petals
Penetrate

There was a flower
And a honey bee
Licking nectar
From her bush

There was a flower
In a meadow
Streaks of perfume
Light the wind

There was a flower
And a lover
Cut her head off
With his tongue

There was a lover
With his flower
Pressed and dried out
In his book

Thirsty as a flash of thunder
Little flower praying "paint me"
Bolt of lightning
Naked daisy.
