let's get unstressed

let's get unstressed
let’s get knotted
let’s make gloves like shakespeare’s dad did
let’s be besotted

let’s get shirty
let’s get potted
let’s break some rules of repetition and confound the walnut
let’s pick daisies

there’ll be new words over
the white bits of my folder
none of which have an absolutely definitive
etymology
and yet people use them everyday
for example in poems
as if they knew exactly what they thought they meant
they were trying to say

Let’s get screechy
Let’s get scruffy
Let’s get deeply ensconsed in the lewdness of lust
Let’s get naked with an axe.
