Magnet to metal

In these ashes
Are a mountain
Wounded like a wooly mammoth
Water coursed
Into seduction
Molten young men
Tongued her bones
In this vastness
Of the ashtray
Lipstick pearls
Your cigarette
How I yearn to smoke your wonder
Like a swallow broke your neck

Triple split
I'll Dive and wallow
In your swirling obsolescence
Radiant as a plastic star
Cartwheel sparks and rays of yonder
Interpolate this prick of gone
Was there yet a thing to ponder
In the shadow of your bones

Perpetuity wrings the pus
Of introspection
Like a diamond
Cutting thistles
Like a hero
Crushing spittle
From the scrapyard
Of dejection
From the fire guard
Of his grate
Inadequately
Fending the deprecation
Of hilarity
Into baubles
Thin as mud

Where did you go to my fable
Will you emerge from the dust
Is there a space at your table
Where forces of weakness
Tarry and fumble
Insinuating themselves into a bubble
Of coalescence
Catalyzed by memory
Magnets remembering metal
Forces subtle as gilt
Report each tenant of grace
And the angels in heaven
("Brooklyn hall
дербеневская 20, стр 25")
Remember your thunder
Though they can't always put
A frame to your face
They're often stretched
By costermongers
Aflame as your boot lace
Your passion your castigation
Your haste
Deserving crows beak
Etched in your hate.
